Magoo started recording bands such as Dreamkillers and Pangaea in 1992 and began to get a name for himself locally. He rose to prominence nationally with his production of the Regurgitator debut "Tu-Plang". Magoo's work over the years has earned recognition with several ARIA Awards and nominations, for collaboration with artists such as Regurgitator, Midnight Oil, Skunkhour, Kate Miller-Heidke, Operator Please, and End Of Fashion. In 2007 Magoo established Applewood Lane Studios. The studio has been an ideal place to record, while staying close to his young family. Here he has worked with The Gin Club, An Horse, The Panda band, My Fiction, Art vs Science, and Tex Perkins and The Dark Horses.
